Viral action platforming shooter game for PC

BioGun is a premium action game for PC developed by Dapper Dog Digital. It's a side-scrolling shooter featuring platforming elements, set in a microscopic world wherein players will be tasked with preventing the spread of a deadly and mysterious virus capable of wiping out the entire canine species.

Comparable to games like Nine Sols or Rain World, BioGun will have players explore a vast interconnected world akin to Metroidvania-likes, but in a more bizarre way, considering it's inside a dog's body. Newcomers can check out its demo version to get a sense of what the gameplay will be like.

Dastardly canine sniffles

BioGun is a bizarre action-adventure set in the world of dogs and viruses. In it, you play as Bek, who will be embarking on a viral journey to eradicate the mysterious Dooper Virus, capable of wiping out the entire canine species from the face of the planet. Turn yourself particle size and inject directly into your dog's body to fight off the infection.

The gameplay is a combination of fast-paced shooting with some platforming elements. Your journey will take you to multiple sections where vital organs are, and you need to get rid of the harmful germs around them. Utilize various weapons and augment your DNA with Nano Chips from fallen enemies that give you new abilities as you take on tougher challenges and opponents.

What's more, you get to meet different cells and organisms through side missions. Completing them will earn you various rewards and will let you learn more about the lifeforms living there. All that said, one area where the game falls short is its inconsistent performance. The experience is filled with various micro stutters that affect gameplay. Also, the sound would randomly cut off while playing.

Needs more optimizations

All in all, BioGun is a quirky yet fun action platformer with a unique premise and setting. Go on a germ-killing rampage to save your precious dog and their kind from extinction. Equip various weapons, enhance your skills, and help other cells as you begin the healing from the inside out. Hopefully, the issues mentioned above get addressed as soon as possible. Nevertheless, it's worth checking out.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
